This is a line of cards that is heavy on traps as the name suggests and is more about the theme of female monsters - very suitable for women and men who love loli :) But those things do not bring special points to the series. cards and bring the deck to the top tier (however, anyone who plays loli can also get to the top tier :v). Traptrix are an archetypal line of cute little tree- and insect-like girls that will trick innocent men who follow them into their traps to eventually devour their prey. You will have to do the same thing to achieve victory with this deck.

Your main goal is to get Traptrix Sera onto the field, then lure your opponents into using resources, punish them for swarming the field with your many traps, and finally, end the game with the resources that Traptrix Sera will accumulate. accumulated for you.

If you want to build this deck, you will want to open Secret Pack Mother Nature's Snare , to unlock it you can craft any UR or SR of Traptrix . The deck is control, which means resource management is key. If you want to manage your resources then it's best to know how most other decks work in order to interrupt at the right time. Furthermore, because your archetype is based on traps, it's quite slow and the matches you'll play can take longer than most other archetypes. However, don't worry because they have easier variations that almost anyone can play.

Your bread and butter, I highly recommend playing both with 3 copies. Traptrix Mantis is your monster searcher and Traptrix Myrmeleo searches for any "Hole" traps.

  • Traptrix Mantis can also return any of your set Spells/Traps to your hand and place them back on the field at the same turn. Great for avoiding targeted removals like Cosmic Cyclone or Twin Twisters . You can return traps set by Traptrix Dionaea to your hand to keep them on the field or activate Traptrix Sera easily.
  • Traptrix Myrmeleo , when special summoned, is an effect of Mystical Space Typhoon on your opponent's spells/traps. This is a Compulsory effect that will trigger regardless of whether your opponent has magic or traps. This means that the Traptrix Sera effect will also trigger if you summon her on your first turn. You just need to be careful when bringing her back to avoid destroying magic/traps like Waking the Dragon or Cybernetic Overflow .

Unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Traps. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Traptrix Vesiculo" per turn, and only once that turn. You can send 1 Set Trap you control to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand. If you control no cards in your Spell & Trap Zone: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 "Hole" Normal Trap in your GY; Set it to your field.


  • Dionaea
    • Traptrix Dionaea will bring back a Traptrix from GY when summoned normally, this is a great follow up for you on turn two as you will usually summon Traptrix Sera , allowing for XYZ Rank 4 play or Link play, depending on what you need. Dionaea's special summoning effect will place a "Hole" Trap from the GY. I recommend using that trap quickly because it will be banished next turn. You can return it with Traptrix Mantis to reset it, avoiding the banishment effect.
    • Traptrix Dionaea 's special summoning effect is a "When" effect, so it's easy to miss its timing, so be careful with your chain links.
  • Vesiculo
    • Traptrix Vesiculo is an extender, and it's pretty awesome to have an entire archetype that relies so heavily on its regular summon. Her special summoning effect will activate Traptrix Sera . If you get a chance to trigger her GY effect, it's a pretty good recovery tool. Just remember, you can only activate one of the two effects per turn.
I recommend playing 2 Traptrix Dionaea and 1 Traptrix Vesiculo . You can add an additional copy of any of these, preferably Traptrix Dionaea instead of Traptrix Vesiculo if you feel you are short on monsters.

Finally, don't hesitate to create Sera with either of the above two cards, even if you can't activate their effects, Sera will bring much more value than if you kept them in your hand.

This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards. You can activate "Hole" Normal Trap Cards from your hand. The activation and effects of Normal Trap Cards activated on your side of the field cannot be negated.


A card that is quite underrated. You can play this card in a few specific variations, mainly variations that use Torrential Tribute and/or Needle Ceiling . It makes your normal traps impossible to disable, however your opponent can still chain your traps. For example, if your opponent activates Herald of Ultimateness against your Needle Ceiling , they will have to fold at the cost of 1 fairy but the Needle Ceiling will still resolve immediately afterwards.

Cards like Infinite Impermanence or Forbidden Chalice are activated on the same chain as one of your traps, targeting Atrax after negation will result in your trap being disabled.

Activating the "Hole" trap from your hand during her effects rarely comes into play, you can keep the "Hole" trap if Traptrix Rafflesia is on the field. You can directly activate Gravedigger's Trap Hole if your opponent activates the handtrap. This effect can be huge on your first turn, as it gives you access to Gravedigger's Trap Hole to block handtraps like Nibiru, the Primal Being on your first turn, as you don't need to set previous trap.

Both of these cards do not qualify for adding them to your deck. They need to be on the field and demand too much to get some of their value. However, the artwork is the only cool thing about these cards :v (who doesn't like loli)

Nepenthes can give you additional access to Dionaea and Myrmeleo's special summons, so she can be used with 1 copy

In any Traptrix deck, you will want to have between 8 and 12 Traptrix monsters in MD. With this amount, you will usually get 1 Traptrix monster on your starting turn while still having traps to control your opponent.

You should choose between one of them and play at 3 copies to get the most out of the cards. I really like Parallel eXceed because it will be a free XYZ Rank 4 on your first turn or 2 free monsters for one Link like for Knightmares .

Iron Dragon Tiamaton has a quick effect that can block Extra Monster Zones and can also destroy magic/traps. The destruction effect occurs in a new chain after summoning. You will need to play your Magic/Trap in specific areas to make it easier to activate, however by doing so you may lose your magic/trap area.

        My personal recommendation is Pot of Prosperity because you can choose any to banish in your Extra Deck and you usually won't need more. I'm not a fan of Pot of Desires as it can banish your combo pieces but the draw 2 effect makes up for that. I would say the same thing for Pot of Extravagance but it is also a card that increases draw power. I would play any of them at 3 copies despite how important they are. You can play more but I don't recommend as they conflict with each other quite a bit, except for Pot of Desires and Pot of Prosperity if used in this order.

                It prevents any Link Summon attempt with the given monster and blocks a zone (1 cell). Especially good against Pendulum decks because you can set every monster face down after pendulum, you can also prevent effects that can trigger like Adamancipator , also preventing them from special summoning others for a face-down monsters have no attributes. However, you can still use face-down monsters to Fusion. I'll play 1 or 2 of these but if you have the space then 3 copies is always best. Note, Link monsters cannot be placed face down because they cannot be placed in a defensive position.

                    Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare is a great trap to get a copy of depending on what you play with specific decks. Sky Striker is one of them, not as effective but still good against Zoodiac. It will also activate Traptrix Allomerus . It's not as necessary as the other cards but you can add it because it will never be a deadhand.

                                                                                                                                                              Engine Amazement has the best synergy with Traptrix thanks to Amazement Administrator Arlekino with regular traps and Traptrix Sera.
