How to Play Kewl Tune

Snatching hands, snatching extra decks, dirty locks, Synchro Turn 0, playing on the opponent's turn—there's nothing immoral or unethical that they wouldn't do!



This deck locks in all Tuner monsters, and you can summon Synchro monsters by using 2 Tuner monsters!

Because it revolves around Tuner, you can interact extremely well with handtraps.

This card allows you to normal summon a Tuner from your hand by showing this card and another Tuner monster from your hand to your opponent, helping you summon an extra monster if you happen to get disrupted or adding more units to your combo.

When summoned, it can usually bring any Tuner from the Deck, hand, or graveyard onto the field, including Naturia Rosewhip.


If sent to the graveyard while using Synchro materials, you can look at the top two cards in your opponent's deck, banish one of them (face-up banish, permanently), and steal several one-card combo cards on your opponent's next turn. This is incredibly audacious. After stealing the cards, you can place the remaining card at the top or bottom of their deck. If it's a good card, put it at the bottom; if it's a bad card, put it at the top, and your opponent will draw that card on their next turn.

    Damn, this leaf can be used twice at once!



    Search for Kewl Tune (a monster/spell/trap), and after searching, you can Synchro Summon a Tuner Synchro monster (this card is an instant spell, so it can use your or your opponent's turn to dodge the target, which is incredibly unfair).

      You can Normal Summon 1 Tuner during your Main Phase each turn, in addition to your Normal Summon/Set (you can only gain this effect once per turn). Each "Kewl Tune Loudness War" you control gains 3300 ATK while your opponent has a Tuner in their field or GY. You can Tribute 1 Tuner; add to your hand or Special Summon, 1 "Kewl Tune" monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn, except Tuners. You can only use this effect of "JJ "Kewl Tune"" once per turn.


      This allows you to normal summon one more Tuner monster in each Main Phase.



      Kewl Tune Loudness War grants 3300 ATK (WTF)

      Jump straight to Kewl Tune from your deck (at the cost of sacrificing 1 Tuner if your opponent has a Tuner on the field or in the graveyard, and of course, handtraps are also Tuners so they can be used anyway, it's just that this card can be searched and is too passive so it's usually only played once).

      "Kewl Tune Reco" + 1+ Tuners Gains 300 ATK for each Tuner in the GYs. The Levels of monsters your opponent controls with 1700 or less original ATK are increased by 1. During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 Tuner from your GY, then target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Kewl Tune RS" once per turn.


      Reco is required to Synchro summon this card; it might seem like a weakness, but thanks to this stat, you can search for Reco from your deck and add it to your hand (one-card combo).



      He is essentially a floodgay with the ability to increase the level of Level 1700 or lower characters by 1 (he suppresses Xyz or Synchro characters, sometimes Ritual characters, but very rarely).

      Additionally, you get to target and negate an face-up card on your opponent's field, at the cost of banishing one Tuner monster from their graveyard.

      "Kewl Tune Clip" + 1+ Tuners If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can look at your opponent's Extra Deck, and if you do, banish (face-up) 1 card from it (until the End Phase), then you can make this card gain ATK equal to the banished monster's. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card, then you can look at your opponent's Extra Deck, and if you do, banish (face-up) 2 cards from it until the End Phase. You can only use each effect of "Kewl Tune Crackle" once per turn.


      Upgrade using Clip + 1 Tuner


      You can see your opponent's entire Extra Deck and banish one card from it (face-up banishment, but End Phase returns it to the Extra Deck. Sounds lame, but you can play this card during your opponent's turn, resulting in banishing two Extra Deck cards during their turn: one from Clip and one from this card). Then you gain bonus ATK, which nobody cares about because it will be Synchro-killed after only 36 seconds.


      THEN, if this card is Synchro Summoned and then sent to the graveyard, you can jump back and look at your opponent's Extra Deck one more time, then grab 2 cards (face up, End Phase back to Extra Deck).

      In general, they are immoral and wicked.

When your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Tuner in your GY or banishment, except a Level 10 monster; either add it to your hand or Special Summon it, then immediately after this effect resolves, you can Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster. You can only use this effect of "Kewl Tune Back 2 Back" twice per turn.


      Floodgay is achieved by increasing the level of all enemy monsters by 2 (Xyz and Synchro monsters are very vulnerable to this effect).


      All your Tuner monsters can punch twice per Battle Phase and also have a Synchro Effect when enemy monsters activate it by picking up a Tuner monster from the graveyard or jumping from the graveyard onto the field (Quick Effect).


      => You can pick any Tuner you like, including Handtrap Tuners, not just Kewl Tunes.

                This card jumps Mix from the deck onto the field, searches for Cue , normal summons Cue to draw Reco straight from the deck, Cue searches Rotary.


                II> Synchro summons Track Maker. Track Maker chain link 1, search for Clip . Rotary chain link 2, look at your opponent's hand and search for Kewl Tune Synchro . Cue chain link 3, capture one of the top two cards in the deck.
