Adamancipator gameplay guide

Adamancipator gameplay guide

Adamancipator, a deck where all the main pieces are contained in a single Main Box called Millennium Duel, is quite suitable for free-to-play players.

The biggest drawback of this deck is that it has a significant weakness to the Book of Eclipse , so you have to watch out for that. The fact that almost all of the Adamancipator cards excavate 5 cards makes it feel quite slow and frustrating, but luckily it doesn't run out of your game time.

You can only use this Skill's first effect once per Duel. 1: Place up to 2 Level 4 monsters or Normal Monsters from your hand on the bottom of your Deck in any order, then draw the same number of cards. Then, play 1 "Rescue Rabbit" from your hand or Deck in face-down Defense Position. (Its battle position can be changed.)

This skill performs an extremely powerful "Repair - Draw - Summon" sequence of actions. This skill mechanism ensures you'll never "die" when drawing Normal monsters. You return them to your deck so Rescue Rabbit has a target to summon, and also gives you a chance to draw other combo pieces. .

This skill turns Rescue Rabbit into a perfect "One-Card Combo" without wasting a Normal Summon turn (due to the skill that places it on the field).

The Three Miners

This is the heart that powers the deck of cards. All three are Tuner monsters, capable of Special Summoning, and share a common effect: Unearth the first 5 cards of your deck to Special Summon 1 Tier 4 or lower (non-Tuner) Rock monster from among them. .

You can only use each effect of "Adamancipator Analyzer" once per turn.

Starter goes second. Helps disrupt the opponent's board by instantly creating a Level 8 or Rank 4 Synchro Summon without costing a Normal Summon (if going second).

This is the big brother who protects all the Rock monsters on the field from being destroyed by the effects. .

When sent to the Graveyard (to Link/Synchro), it allows you to search for up to 3 Stone monsters from your deck (total level 8). A common combo is to take 2 Researcher/Seeker (Lv2) + another Block Dragon (Lv8 ) . This is why Adamancipator never runs out of songs. .

Target 1 Rock monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position, then, if you Special Summoned an "Adamancipator" monster by this effect, you can take 1 Level 4 or lower Rock monster from your Deck and place it on top of your Deck.

This is an Archetype Spell. It allows you to revive a Rock monster from the Graveyard. However, its real power lies in its side effect: If you revive an Adamancipator monster, you can choose a Tier 4 or lower Rock monster from your Deck and place it on the Top Deck. This ensures your next excavation is sure to hit the target, turning the element of chance into a well-controlled tactic. .

      • Combo with Supplier: When a Stone monster is sent to the Graveyard, Koa'ki Meiru Supplier in hand will activate its Special Summon effect. Therefore, Miracle Rupture indirectly acts as a Summoning and Seeking tool (via Supplier).

For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Rock monsters.

Allows you to dig up a number of cards equal to the number of Stone Monsters you control +5 and add 1 Stone Monster to your hand. Despite its power, its numbers are often limited because Adamancipator needs to prioritize space for the monster to ensure a high success rate in excavations. .

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Any monster sent from the hand or Main Deck to the GY is banished instead. When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated (Quick Effect): You can Tribute this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card. If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Ritual Monster or 1 Ritual Spell from your Deck to your hand.

Easily summoned using Level 2 Tuners + Level 2 Monsters. It both disables 1 Spell/Trap/Monster card (by sacrificing itself) and banishes all monsters sent from hand/deck to the Graveyard (counters decks that use the Graveyard like Shaddoll or Phantom Knights).

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can equip 1 Link Monster from your GY to this card, and if you do, place Borrel Counters on this card equal to that Link Monster's Link Rating. This card gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the monster equipped to it by its effect. When your opponent activates a card or effect (Quick Effect): You can remove 1 Borrel Counter from this card; negate the activation. You can only use this effect of "Borreload Savage Dragon" once per turn.

1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters For each banished card, this card gains 100 ATK/DEF and monsters your opponent controls lose 100 ATK/DEF. If this card would be destroyed by card effect, you can banish 1 card from your GY instead. If a card(s) is banished (except during the Damage Step): You can banish 1 card each from both your opponent's field and GY. You can only use this effect of "Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying" once per turn.

Chengying provides the ability to protect itself and banish opponent cards (which is very similar to Block Dragon banishing cards from the graveyard). Borreload Savage provides an additional Omni-negate layer if you have Link Monsters in your graveyard.

                    Combo/How to play

                    1. COMBO 1

This is the first and most important step in setting up the board without wasting your Normal Summon turns.

                    • Requirements: Rescue Rabbit Call skill and at least 1-2 Normal/Tier 4 monsters in your hand.

                    • Steps to follow:

                      1. Activating Skill: Select up to 2 Normal (or Tier 4) monsters from your hand and return them to the end of your deck -> Draw the corresponding number of monsters -> Summon Rescue Rabbit (Set) from your deck/hand to the field .

                      2. Flip Rescue Rabbit to Attack Position -> Activate Effect: Banish yourself to Special Summon 2 Tier 4 Normal monsters (usually Evilswarm Heliotrope ) from your deck. .

                      3. Here you have two main paths to follow:

                        • Branch A (Safety/Mining): Xyz Summon Gallant Granite .

                        • Branch B (Stage Lock/Anti-Meta): Xyz Summon Evilswarm Ophion (only works if using Heliotrope ).

                    2. BRANCH A: SEARCH & SYNCHRO COMBO (STANDARD COMBO)

The goal is to find Tuner to begin the excavation sequence and establish multiple layers of neutralization.

                    • Starting from Step 1 (with 2 Level 4 monsters):

                      1. Xyz Summon: Combine two monsters to summon Gallant Granite .

                      2. Activate the Gallant Granite effect (separates 1 material) -> Add Adamancipator Researcher (if not already present) or Block Dragon from your deck to your hand. .

                      3. Special Summon Adamancipator Researcher from your hand (since you are controlling Gallant Granite , a Stone monster). .

                      4. Excavate: Activates the Researcher effect : Flip the first 5 cards of your deck -> Special Summon 1 Tier 4 or lower (Non-Tuner) Stone monster. .

                      5. Leo Synchro (Synchro Climb):

                        • Use Tuner + Non-Tuner -> Synchro Summon Adamancipator Risen - Raptite (Level 6).

                        • Activate Raptite -> Unearth 5 more cards -> Summon more Stone monsters .

                        • Use Raptite + Tuner (just summoned) -> Synchro Summon Adamancipator Risen - Dragite (Level 8) or Borreload Savage Dragon

                      6. End Board: You will have Dragite (Spell/Trap Blocker) and can add Herald of the Arc Light or I:P Masquerena depending on the resources you mine. .

                    3. BRANCH B: OPHION LOCK PLAYSTYLE

This is a "lost" playstyle, used to hard counter meta decks.

                    • From Step 1 (already have 2 Evilswarm Heliotrope):

                      1. Xyz Summon: Stack 2 Heliotrope to summon Evilswarm Ophion .

                      2. Seek protection: Activate Ophion effect (separate materials) -> Add Quick-Play Infestation Pandemic spell from your deck to your hand. .

                      3. Settings: Set Infestation Pandemic .

                      4. Further recalls (if any):

                        • If you still have Tuner ( Analyzer/Seeker ) in your hand, you can continue the Synchro combo as in Branch A.

                        • Use Cartorhyn to get an extra Normal Summon for Koa'ki Meiru Guardian. .

                    4. REGENERATION COMBO: BLOCK DRAGON LOOP

When resources are depleted or a decisive blow is needed, the Block Dragon is the key.

                    • Condition: There are 3 Ground monsters in the graveyard (e.g., Rescue Rabbit already used, Gallant Granite , monster detached from Xyz).

                    • Steps:

                      1. Summon: Exorcise 3 Earth from Graveyard -> Special Summon Block Dragon .

                      2. Use Block Dragon to Link Summon (for example, I:P Masquerena or Knightmare Unicorn ) .

                      3. Block Dragon is sent to the graveyard -> Add up to 3 Stone monsters from your deck to your hand so that their total level equals 8.

                        • Common pick combinations: Researcher (Lv2) + Seeker (Lv2) + Gigantes/Supplier (Lv4) .

                      4. Use the cards you just drew to continue Special Summoning and Synchro/Xyz in that turn, or prepare for the next turn.
