About Archetype

For those who don't know, Branded is a deck that has gone through many different forms over the years — all of which involve Fallen of Albaz and his companions. The archetype has received so much support that it's often discussed in lengthy tutorial videos , and even to this day still sees a lot of success in Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments .
The Branded Archetype officially debuted in Lightning Overdrive decks in 2021 (both OCG and TCG), but it wasn't until the release of the " Albaz Strike " Structure Deck — late 2021 for the OCG and early 2022 for the TCG — that Branded really made a name for itself , becoming a familiar force in every meta .
So what makes this deck so strong and popular?
Part of the reason is because of the extremely powerful specific tools this archetype possesses , specifically:
Branded Fusion – a fusion card that can use materials directly from the deck — something extremely rare, if not unprecedented in Yu-Gi-Oh! before.
Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon – extremely powerful boss monster , still very formidable to this day .
But what about Duel Links?
In Duel Links, we don't have those cards yet , at least not yet . So you might think Branded isn't worth discussing , since the most powerful cards haven't been released yet .
However, Branded is still a viable and playable deck in Duel Links , mainly thanks to:
Main Box " Majestic Magic " – introduced the Dogmatika archetype to the game.
The latest Main Box " Chaos Voltage " – has added some Branded songs , which were originally featured in Lightning Overdrive .
So in this guide:
Instead of following the familiar presentation like:
“Main Deck – Extra Deck – Backrow”
We'll start by focusing on the "Albaz" section , including the Branded cards that are already in current Duel Links .
We'll then also extend our perspective to Dogmatika — to analyze whether this archetype resonates well with Branded .
Albaz's goods
Fallen of Albaz (x3)

Fallen of Albaz
ATK:
1800
DEF:
0
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned (except during the Damage Step): You can discard 1 card; Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters on either field as Fusion Material, including this card, but you cannot use other monsters you control as Fusion Material. You can only use this effect of "Fallen of Albaz" once per turn.
This makes Fallen of Albaz one of the strongest disruption tools in the deck, even to this day. We'll talk about the skill later, but remember that the deck's skill mentions Fallen of Albaz , so we always play x3 copies . It's too important .
Albion the Shrouded Dragon (x2-3)

Albion the Shrouded Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2000
This card's name becomes "Fallen of Albaz" while on the field or in the GY. If this card is in your hand or GY: You can send 1 "Fallen of Albaz" or 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap from your hand or Deck to the GY; apply the following effect based on where you sent it from. ● Hand: Special Summon this card. ● Deck: Place this card on the bottom of the Deck, then, if you placed this card from your hand, draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Albion the Shrouded Dragon" once per turn.
Next is its evolved form – Albion the Shrouded Dragon
This is a level 8 Dark Dragon with 2,500 ATK / 2,000 DEF , with the following effects:
It is considered Fallen of Albaz when on the field or in the grave.
You can send 1 Fallen of Albaz or 1 branded backrow card from your hand or deck to the graveyard to:
Or special summon Albion from your hand or graveyard ,
Or return Albon to the deck , if you do so from your hand you get to draw 1 card .
Simply put, Albon recycles itself , while also acting as a copy of Fallen of Albaz in the grave —very useful for later combos.
In TCG, you can send branded backrows with powerful effects when in the graveyard, but in Duel Links we don't have those cards yet, so this effect is not too important . So x2 Albion is enough , later on we may need 3 if we get more support.
Albion the Branded Dragon (x2)

Albion the Branded Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2000
"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 LIGHT monster If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can Fusion Summon 1 Level 8 or lower Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, except "Albion the Branded Dragon", by banishing Fusion Materials mentioned on it from your hand, field, and/or GY. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there this turn: You can add to your hand or Set 1 "Branded" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Albion the Branded Dragon" once per turn.
Fusion Form – Albion the Branded Dragon
Dragon - Dark Level 8 , 2,500 ATK / 2,000 DEF .
Fusion materials: Fallen of Albaz + 1 light monster .
When fused, you can fused one more Level 8 or lower fusion monster from your Extra Deck by removing material from your hand, field, or graveyard .
However, like Albaz's other fusion monsters, if it is sent to the graveyard during the turn , then during the End Phase , you can add or place 1 branded backrow from your deck .
Unfortunately, in current Duel Links, branded backrows are still rare, so this effect mainly supports follow-up .
=> Playing x2 Albion Fusion is fine , because the Extra Deck is very cramped.
Titaniklad the Ash Dragon (x2)

Titaniklad the Ash Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2500
"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 monster with 2500 or more ATK Gains ATK equal to the combined original Levels of the monsters used for its Fusion Summon x 100. After this card is Fusion Summoned, for the rest of this turn, it is unaffected by the activated effects of any other monsters Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there this turn: You can add to your hand, or Special Summon, 1 "Fallen of Albaz" or "Dogmatika" monster from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Titaniklad the Ash Dragon" once per turn.
Sprind the Irondash Dragon (x0-1)

Sprind the Irondash Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2000
"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 Effect Monster Special Summoned this turn During your Main Phase: You can move this card you control to another of your Main Monster Zones, then you can destroy all other face-up cards in this card's column. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there this turn: You can add to your hand, or Special Summon, 1 "Springans" monster or 1 "Fallen of Albaz" from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Sprind the Irondash Dragon" once per turn.
Difficult to summon consistently , although the column destruction effect is quite interesting, but should not be put in Extra Deck unless you want to test , and if you do, only play x1 copy .
Brigrand the Glory Dragon (x0)

Brigrand the Glory Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2000
"Fallen of Albaz" + 1 Level 8 or higher monster Cannot be destroyed by battle. While you control this Fusion Summoned card, your opponent cannot target other monsters you control with monster effects. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there this turn: You can add to your hand, or Special Summon, 1 "Tri-Brigade" monster or 1 "Fallen of Albaz" from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Brigrand the Glory Dragon" once per turn.
While it sounds nice, it's not worth the effort to summon , using Titaniklad instead is much more effective .
=> It is not recommended to play this card .
Branded in White (x3)

Branded in White
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as material, including a Dragon monster. You can also banish monsters from your GY as material, if you use "Fallen of Albaz" as Fusion Material from your hand, field, or by banishing itself from your GY. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there to activate the effect of "Fallen of Albaz" this turn: You can Set this card. You can only use each effect of "Branded in White" once per turn.
Fusion is similar to Polymerization , using resources from hand or field.
If you use Fallen of Albaz as a material, you can also remove resources from the grave , like Miracle Fusion , but you have to banish all the materials.
Besides:
If sent to the graveyard by the effect of Fallen of Albaz , you can place it on the field during the End Phase .
Although it may be used less in the future, in the current version this is the only fusion spell , and can be found with Albion's skills and effects in the grave.Play x3.
Branded Bond (x1)

Branded Bond
Special Summon 1 of your "Fallen of Albaz" that is banished, in your hand, or in your GY. During the End Phase, if this card is in the GY because it was sent there to activate the effect of "Fallen of Albaz" this turn: You can Set this card. You can only use each effect of "Branded Bond" once per turn.
Special summon Fallen of Albaz from your hand, graveyard, or banished , and from there you can "super poly" immediately .
Note: Only revive Fallen of Albaz , not Albion – mistake of many newbies.
It also has the same effect as Branded in White when in the graveyard (resets in End Phase if sent with Albaz).
This card isn't too strong , but the deck's ability gives you a free copy , which is useful on turn two to cause disruption .
=> Playing 1 version is enough .
Dogmatika's goods
Dogmatika Ecclesia the Virtuous (x3)

Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous
ATK:
1500
DEF:
1500
Cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck. You can only use each of the following effects of "Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous" once per turn. If a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is on the field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can activate this effect; add 1 "Dogmatika" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Dogmatika Ecclesia, the Virtuous", also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn.
Starting with Dogmatica Ecclesia, the Virtuous , a Light-type Witch monster with 1500 ATK and DEF. This card has a bunch of effects. It cannot be destroyed by battle with monsters summoned from the Extra Deck.
It can special summon itself if there is a monster from the Extra Deck on the field, and when summoned, allows you to search for a Dogmatika card. However, after you activate this effect, you cannot special summon monsters from the Extra Deck until the end of that turn.
Ecclesia isn’t exactly a combo starter, but it’s an important part of the first turn endboard because it adds disruption – which is essential to how the kit works. You can also reveal it to benefit from the ability. (I’ll talk more about the ability later – promise) but for now, remember that Ecclesia prevents you from summoning from the Extra Deck the turn you use your search effect , so don’t search until you’ve done everything else.
This is a very important card – you should play x3 copies.
Dogmatika Fleurdelis the Knighted (x2-3)

Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2500
During the Main Phase, if a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck is on the field (Quick Effect): You can Special Summon this card from your hand, then, if you control another "Dogmatika" monster, you can negate the effects of 1 face-up monster on the field, until the end of this turn. When your "Dogmatika" monster declares an attack: You can make all "Dogmatika" monsters you currently control gain 500 ATK. You can only use each effect of "Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted" once per turn.
One of the cards Ecclesia can find is Dogmatica Fleurdelis – a level 8, Light Witch type monster with 2500 ATK/DEF. It can be special summoned for free during the Main Phase if there is an Extra Deck monster on the field, either your side or your opponent’s side.
And if you control another Dogmatika monster, you can negate the effect of a face-up monster on the field – which is not targeted, and occurs in the same chain – so it can be stopped by other negate effects.
Most importantly: this is a key interrupt card that you can search for to use on your opponent's turn. Also, with 2500 ATK, and possibly 3000 when attacking, it's a pretty good beatdown card. Its stats also fit well with the materials of Branded fusion cards.
Play x2 to 3 copies of this card – you'll definitely find it when you need it.
Dogmatika Maximus (x0-1)

Dogmatika Maximus
ATK:
1500
DEF:
3000
You can banish 1 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, or Link Monster from your GY; Special Summon this card from your hand. During your Main Phase: You can activate this effect; send 2 monsters with different names from your Extra Deck to the GY, also your opponent sends 2 monsters from their Extra Deck to the GY, also you cannot Special Summon from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Dogmatika Maximus" once per turn.
Another card you can find is Dogmatica Maximus – level 8, Light Witch, 1500 ATK / 2000 DEF. It can be summoned by removing an Extra Deck monster from the Graveyard, and then sending 2 monsters from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard to force your opponent to do the same . But then you can no longer use the Extra Deck.
Maximus is a solid first turn pick, and there are a few setups that can make use of it because of its powerful effect. As you may recall, Silver Rocket Dragon used to be a very important card to deal with bosses in the Extra Deck. However, in the current meta, Shaddoll is the strongest deck and can easily use the extra deck to get back into the game – so using Maximus can be counterproductive .
For that reason, I currently do not recommend Maximus – unless you want to test it out.
Dogmatika Nexus (x0-1)

Dogmatika Nexus
ATK:
3200
DEF:
3200
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect. You can target 4 Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and/or Link Monsters in the GYs; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, banish them. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Special Summoned monster: Destroy all your opponent's Attack Position monsters, then inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and Link Monster destroyed by this effect.
Dogmatica Nexus is another Dogmatika monster you can summon. It's huge – Light Witch-type, 3200 ATK/DEF. (I don't understand why the two dragons about to kiss are Witches, but whatever .)
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set – it can only be Special Summoned by removing 4 Extra Deck monsters from either player's Graveyard.
When it attacks, it destroys all of your opponent's attack position monsters, and deals 400 damage per monster (not 800, since this is Duel Links). This is a big card that can end the game. However, it is quite difficult to summon early , usually taking several turns to come out.
At worst, you can use it as fusion material for Fallen of Albaz . This is a situational card – not the strongest, but fun if you want to try it.
Nadir Servant (x0-3)

Nadir Servant
Send 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the GY, then add 1 "Dogmatika" monster or "Fallen of Albaz" from your Deck or GY to your hand, that has ATK less than or equal to that sent monster in the GY, also, for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "Nadir Servant" per turn.
is currently a Selection Box exclusive card. It allows you to send an Extra Deck monster to the Graveyard to find a Dogmatika monster with less attack than the sent card, but you are prohibited from using an Extra Deck for the rest of your turn.
This card is pretty important if you’re going for the Maximus route, as it makes it easy to send an Extra Deck monster to summon Maximus. However, since Extra Decks are banned, it’s not a good starter – you have to use all your fusion cards first. So, if you’re not going for the Dogmatica Maximus route , you don’t need this card. But if you are, you should play it x3.
Dogmatika Encounter (x0)
The last Dogmatika spell/trap I'll talk about is Dogmatica Encounter , a trap card that allows you to summon a Dogmatika or Fallen of Albaz from your hand , or add one of them from your graveyard to your hand .
This card is too slow and doesn't do much . It can be found by the end-of-turn effects of Titaniclad or Ecclesia, but that's not worth it. It sounds tempting because it has "Dogmatika" in its name, but don't play it .
White Knight of Dogmatika and Dogmatikalamity (x0)

White Knight of Dogmatika
ATK:
500
DEF:
2500
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Dogmatikalamity". You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. If your opponent activates a card or effect (except during the Damage Step): You can send 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the GY, and if you do, look at your opponent's Extra Deck and send 1 monster from it to the GY. This card gains ATK equal to half the combined ATK of those monsters sent to the GY, until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "White Knight of Dogmatika" once per turn.

Dogmatikalamity
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any "Dogmatika" Ritual Monster. You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field, whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon, or send 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the GY, whose Level equals the Level of the Ritual Monster you Ritual Summon. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "Dogmatikalamity" per turn.
Finally, let’s talk about Dogmatika ritual cards – you can build them from the new box. But ritual strategies don’t go well with Branded combos , so don’t mix the two . You’ll have two opposing strategies that weaken each other. Focus on one to optimize your playstyle.
Other leaves
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon, Borreload Furious Dragon and Predaplant Dragostapelia (.)

Starving Venom Fusion Dragon
ATK:
2800
DEF:
2000
2 DARK monsters on the field, except Tokens If this card is Fusion Summoned: You can make this card gain ATK equal to 1 opponent's Special Summoned monster, until the end of this turn. Once per turn: You can target 1 Level 5 or higher monster your opponent controls; until the End Phase, this card's name becomes that monster's original name, and replace this effect with that monster's original effects. If this Fusion Summoned card is destroyed: You can destroy all your opponent's Special Summoned monsters.

Borreload Furious Dragon
ATK:
3000
DEF:
2500
2 DARK Dragon monsters (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 DARK Link Monster in your GY; Special Summon it, but it cannot activate its effects this turn. You can only use each effect of "Borreload Furious Dragon" once per turn.

Predaplant Dragostapelia
ATK:
2700
DEF:
1900
1 Fusion Monster + 1 DARK monster Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; place 1 Predator Counter on it, and if it is Level 2 or higher, it becomes Level 1 as long as it has a Predator Counter. Negate the activated effects of your opponent's monsters that have Predator Counters.
Potential Fusion targets include, but are not limited to:
Borreload Furious Dragon – only requires 2 Dark Dragon monsters as materials.
Predaplant Dragotapelia – requires 1 Fusion monster and 1 random Dark monster .
Starving Venom Fusion Dragon – requires 2 Dark monsters on the field .
I recommend trying one copy of each card , since you need a Light monster to summon Albion the Branded Dragon in the first place – so adding additional Fusion options makes sense.
Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended, Nibiru, the Primal Being and Effect Veiler (.)

Sauravis, the Ancient and Ascended
ATK:
2600
DEF:
2800
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Sprite's Blessing". When your opponent activates a card or effect that targets a monster you control (Quick Effect): You can discard this card; negate the activation. When your opponent would Special Summon a monster(s) (Quick Effect): You can return this card to the hand; negate the Special Summon, and if you do, banish that monster(s).

Nibiru, the Primal Being
ATK:
3000
DEF:
600
During the Main Phase, if your opponent Normal or Special Summoned 5 or more monsters this turn (Quick Effect): You can Tribute as many face-up monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand, then Special Summon 1 "Primal Being Token" (Rock/LIGHT/Level 11/ATK ?/DEF ?) to your opponent's field. (This Token's ATK/DEF become the combined original ATK/DEF of the Tributed monsters.) You can only use this effect of "Nibiru, the Primal Being" once per turn.
There are also a few other important cards you should play in your deck that , while not necessarily summoning them, are still extremely useful:
Effect Veiler – one of the best trap hands in the current format.
Sauravis – is a good way to avoid Effect Veiler .
Nibiru – currently a Selection Box exclusive, but not required to play this deck – is still a strong card overall.
Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres (x1)

Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres
ATK:
0
LINK-2
Link Arrow:
Bottom-Left
Bottom-Right
2 Dragon monsters Once per opponent's turn, if this card is in the Extra Monster Zone (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field; return 1 face-up card on the field to the hand. If this card is Tributed: Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck, but make its ATK/DEF 0. You can only use this effect of "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres" once per turn.
More information

Fusion Deployment
Reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck and Special Summon, from your hand or Deck, 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is specifically listed on that card, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters, the turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Fusion Deployment" per turn.

Edge Imp Chain
ATK:
1200
DEF:
1800
When this card declares an attack: You can add 1 "Edge Imp Chain" from your Deck to your hand. If this card is sent from the hand or field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Frightfur" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Edge Imp Chain" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
In the real-life (TCG) version of Yu-Gi-Oh, previous Branded versions typically played the Frightfur Patchwork engine with Edge Imp Chain and Polymerization .
However, in my opinion, this engine is not suitable for Duel Links right now because we don't have enough Fusion cards that use Dark monsters as materials . In other words, this engine is not effective at the moment - don't waste your time with it, at least until we have more cards like Despia .
Another card that is often used in the TCG/OCG versions of Branded is Fusion Deployment , but in the current deck, this card can only summon Fallen of Albaz , so it's not really worth playing . You already have a way to send Branded Bond and Fallen of Albaz to the graveyard easily - so there's no need to use Fusion Deployment unless you have a corresponding goal for it.
Skill
Branded Journey (Skill Card) (100%)

Branded Journey (Skill Card)
ATK:
0
DEF:
0
You can only use this Skill's second and third effects once per Duel. 1: You cannot Normal Summon any monsters, except "Fallen of Albaz" and LIGHT Spellcaster monsters with 1500 ATK. 2: Reveal 1 "Fallen of Albaz", 1 Dragon monster that mentions it, or 1 "Dogmatika" card in your hand, shuffle 1 card from your hand into the Deck, then send 1 "Fallen of Albaz" and 1 monster that mentions it from your hand and/or Deck to the Graveyard. Then, you can add 1 "Albion the Shrouded Dragon" or 1 "Branded in White" from your Deck to your hand. 3: If only your opponent controls a monster, add 1 "Branded Bond" from outside of your Deck to your hand.
Now that we've got that out of the way, let's talk about Branded Journey , which has multiple effects but can only be used once per match .
Noteworthy: this skill does NOT limit the monsters you can Special Summon , which means you can still play Nibiru . And you can also summon Dogmatik a Fleurdelis more easily.
The first effect allows you to:
Reveal a Fallen of Albaz , a Dragon monster with its name in the description (such as Albion the Shrouded Dragon ), or a Dogmatika card from your hand.
Then shuffle 1 card from your hand into your deck , then send Fallen of Albaz and Albion the Shrouded Dragon from your hand or deck to the graveyard .
Then add Albion the Shrouded Dragon or Branded in White from your deck to your hand.
It sounds a bit confusing, but basically you set up Branded in White for free , which in the worst case scenario is still a Miracle Fusion – a fusion from the grave.
Second effect: If only your opponent controls a monster , you can search for 1 Branded Bond card. from outside the deck (ie does not cost a deck slot).
This effect is quite nice, as it synergizes well with Fallen of Albaz which you send to the grave for free on the first effect – turning it into a kind of disruption that your opponent has to watch out for when you go after.
Combo
Some important combos:
But how to do that? It's not that complicated actually:
Using Skill Branded Journey to send Fallen of Albaz and Albion the Shrouded Dragon to the grave , and add 1 Branded in White card to your hand.
You now have enough materials in your graveyard to activate Branded in White to summon Albion the Branded Dragon .
For example, you can banish an Albion from the graveyard as long as you have another monster in your hand to use as material for the Albion .You'll probably lose Dogmatika Ecclesia in the process, but that's okay , because we'll summon it back in the End Phase .
Next:
After Albion the Branded Dragon is summoned, it will use its effect to summon Titaniklad the Ash Dragon by banishing matching monsters from the Graveyard .
Note:
Albion the Shrouded Dragon counts as Fallen of Albaz in the grave,
- Also a monster with attack of 2500 or more ,→ so it can be used as an ingredient for Titaniclad.
No kidding, this is an important part of the strategy.
During End Phase , both Dragons will activate effects from their graveyard:
Albion the Branded Dragon adds 1 Branded in White from his deck to his hand to prepare for a combo next turn.
Titaniklad will summon Dogmatika Ecclesia Enter the field → Ecclesia will search for Dogmatika Fleurdelis to create disruption.
→ So your turn 1 will end with:
Hieratic Seal on the field,
Ecclesia on the field,
And Fleurdelis on hand.
Seal can tribute himself to push a face-up monster on the field to his hand .
When tributed, Seal summons a Dragon from hand or Deck .
If you go later , Albion can summon other Dragon monsters :
Borreload Furious Dragon to deal with annoying cards.
Predaplant Dragotapelia can use Albion to negate each turn .
Things to say
Strengths and weaknesses of this deck
Start with strengths:
The deck can set up some pretty solid defensive positions if played first .
- Although it looks simple, the End board with Hieratic Seal + Ecclesia actually creates at least three disruptions ,along with guaranteed follow-up thanks to the Branded in White card you find in End Phase .
Additionally, Skills also help keep the deck acceptable – at least you can always trigger a " Miracle Fusion " every time you play.
When you go later, you always have the chance to create a situation like " Super Polymerization " to neutralize your opponent's board.
- Last but not least:This deck will only get stronger as more Branded pieces are added to Duel Links –It is inevitable that it will happen over time.
But what about the downside?
This deck has a lot of problems .
Very afraid of cards that counter Graveyard (graveyard hate).
When fusing, you often lose resources because there is currently a lack of resource recovery tools.
- Fallen of Albaz , while very important, is also an ideal target for opponents to feed on.and you don't always have Soru to protect it .Even having Soru is sometimes not enough .
=> In short: This deck is currently very "fragile" and lacks resilience .
Another big problem is: The "average power" of this deck is quite low .
At best, you just summon a few Fusion monsters and hope they're enough to finish off your opponent .
But unfortunately, that 's often not enough – because Duel Links 2025 is no longer Duel Links 2020 .
Biggest weakness:
This deck is too "fair"
Its skill is not too strong ,
The monsters you create from skills are not overwhelming either .
You're trying to play a "balanced, fair" deck in a meta where such decks rarely survive .
Conclude:
Branded is off to a rough start .
- The current meta's competitive level is too high for Branded to shine , and it's currently more of an "experimental-investment" rogue deck than a true competitive one .
However , this deck will only get stronger as new cards are added to Duel Links.
Starting with cards from "Despia" , which greatly raises the deck's power ceiling .
Along with that are "super powerful monsters" like Branded Fusion or Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon .
